Hi everybody!

The following is the text of an email I received this morning. Several of our projects have been in conjunction with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which works among the most impoverished of Batticaloas’ poor and disenfranchised; in particular orphans, widows, and the aged. Mr. Gabriel is the President of the Society, which is located at Thandavanvely Church, on the border of Batticaloa Town. (For those of you who have been to Batti, it’s the big church on Trinco Road, just down from Sunshine Bakery.)

Dear Mr. Ben,

Wish you A Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year 2010.

You are wonderful. I missed you a lot this time. Your contribution to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and to the Batticaloa community is tremendous and it is a milestone and credible as well. We look forward to see you in the forthcoming New Year 2010. Our contribution towards your service, will be always there, as a helping hand. In one way, you are our guidance, for the betterment of our service towards the poorest of the poor.

We all hope to see you, in the forthcoming New Year 2010 soon. Once again, I wish you that, all the God’s blessings be with you, throughout the forthcoming New Year 2010.
